Welcome to VoxWrite, provided by GigLabo - Software Dev Agency.

By installing or using our Chrome Extension or website, you agree to these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Extension.

1. Description of Extension

VoxWrite allows users to:

  • Record audio directly from web pages,
  • Transcribe audio into text using AI,
  • Apply custom prompts or translations,
  • Save, download, or share transcriptions, and
  • Use optional premium or subscription features.

2. Plans and Pricing

We offer the following plans:

🆓 Free Plan

  • €0, available forever
  • Limited to 7 transcriptions per day
  • Copy the leat transcription
  • Use your own API keys for AI providers

💎 Lifetime Plan

  • One-time payment of €39.99 (API costs not included)
  • Unlimited transcriptions
  • Download and copy all transcriptions
  • 14-day money-back guarantee
  • Use your own API keys for AI providers

☁️ SaaS Plan

  • €7.99 per month
  • 7-day trial (with limited tokens)
  • Backend AI processing provided by us
  • No API keys required
  • Unlimited transcriptions
  • Download and copy all transcriptions
  • No refunds after trial activation (see Section 8)

All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you may need to create an account and provide a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activities under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the Extension or attempt to reverse-engineer it,
  • Use it for illegal, harmful, or misleading purposes,
  • Upload content containing hate speech, abuse, or unlawful material,
  • Interfere with other users or overload our systems.

Violation of this clause may result in termination without refund.

5. API Usage

If you use your own API keys for AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic):

  • You remain fully responsible for their use, billing, and compliance.
  • We do not access or store your keys.

For SaaS plans, we manage API connections on your behalf.

6. Trial and Subscription Terms

a. Free Trial

SaaS plan users receive a 7-day trial with limited usage credits. After the trial, you have to subscribe if you want to continue using the Extension. During the trial period, you may cancel at any time without being charged. Once the trial ends and you choose to subscribe, billing will begin automatically according to your selected plan.

b. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime before renewal through your account settings. Access remains active until the end of the billing cycle.

7. Payments

Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe or Lemon Squeeze). You authorize us to charge your payment method according to your selected plan.

We do not store or process payment details ourselves.

8. Refund Policy

a. Lifetime Plan

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, all payments are final.

b. SaaS Plan (Subscription)

Because AI usage incurs real costs, refunds are not available after your trial has begun or a subscription period has started. By starting the service, you explicitly agree that:

  • Digital performance will begin immediately, and
  • You lose your right of withdrawal once AI processing starts, in accordance with §356(5) BGB and Directive (EU) 2011/83.

This does not affect your statutory rights in case of technical faults or service failures.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software associated with VoxWrite are the property of Alena Esakova. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Extension for personal or business purposes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities,
  • Errors or interruptions caused by third-party AI providers, or
  • Indirect or consequential damages.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Extension. You may stop using the Extension at any time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Consumers within the EU also benefit from their local mandatory consumer protection laws.
