You speak — messily, with filler words, in your own language — and it returns finished text: punctuated, grammar-fixed, styled for where you are writing, and placed directly into the field you were typing in. It is not only dictation: the same recording can come back as a formal email, a bullet-point to-do list, structured notes, a social post, or a translation. ## What it does with your voice - **Cleans up speech.** Removes "umm" and "uhh", adds punctuation, fixes grammar, turns rambling into readable text. - **Translates.** Speak in your native language, get the text in another one; transcription and output cover a wide range of languages. - **Applies your rules per site.** Tell each website once what you want — formal English in Gmail, professional tone on LinkedIn, casual on X — and VoxWrite remembers it. It works on every website right away. 2. **Choose the output format** — a template or a custom rule. With nothing chosen, VoxWrite behaves as plain speech-to-text. 3. **Click and talk.** The microphone appears where you type. Speak naturally; unstructured thoughts are fine. 4. **The text appears** — cleaned up, and translated, styled or formatted if you set a rule for that site. The home page shows each with a before/after example. ## Where it works - Any website with a text field — Gmail, Google Docs, LinkedIn, X, Claude, ChatGPT and the rest. Text is inserted into the field you clicked, unless a site's own policy blocks that. - Chrome, and Chromium-based browsers such as Edge, Brave and Opera. Not Firefox, not Safari. - Desktop only — Windows, macOS and Linux. Chrome extensions do not run on mobile browsers. - An internet connection is required, because the AI models run on servers rather than on your machine. With your own API keys, processing goes straight to the provider you chose and everything else is processed and kept locally in your browser. On the subscription plan, audio passes through VoxWrite's server for post-processing only and is deleted immediately afterwards; an email address is collected in that case so you can manage the subscription.
